Shipping Prices Explained

Yummi® Candles are made to be of the highest quality standards. For that reason Yummi®Candles are typically heavier than the competitor’s no name brands. In pursuit of keeping our prices as low as possible we do not build in profit for the cost of shipping. The shipping price has nothing to do with how much the product costs. Shipping prices are based on the weight of the product you are ordering and the location it is traveling to. Only with your continued support, and confidence in our brand can we continue to grow. Eventually adding distribution facilities near your location that will help us to bring shipping cost down and pass the savings on to you.

Porch Piracy Policy

At Yummi Candles, we understand the importance of ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and securely. While we take all necessary precautions to prevent porch piracy, we cannot be held responsible for theft once a package has been delivered and proof of delivery has been provided. Thieves will take advantage of the following: Easily accessible packages left out in the open. Overflowing mailboxes. No visible security cameras. We encourage our customers to take the following steps to prevent package theft: Track your delivery: Use the tracking information provided in the shipping confirmation email to monitor the delivery status of your package. This will help you know when to expect the delivery and ensure that someone is available to receive it. We encourage the use of automated floodlights. The dark is the porch pirate or burglar’s best friend. Suggesting that your customers install floodlights around their property or home can be a huge deterrent to any potential thief. Many times, as soon as a sensor catches a porch pirate’s movement and the spotlight is put on them, it’s enough to send the would-be criminal scurrying. Choose a secure delivery location: If possible, choose a delivery location that is not visible from the street and is less likely to attract the attention of thieves. This could be a back porch or a locked gate. Install security cameras: Consider installing security cameras or a video doorbell to monitor your front porch or doorstep. This will allow you to keep an eye on deliveries and deter potential thieves. Communicate with neighbors. A final suggestion is to ask a trusted neighbor to collect their package. When neighbors notice unattended deliveries and know the customer is not home, collecting the package for safekeeping can prevent package theft and home break-ins. We understand the frustration and inconvenience that can result from porch piracy, and we are committed to working with our customers to prevent it. By taking these simple steps, you can help ensure that your packages are delivered safely and securely.
